Our goal is to be a church that does life together regularly. We seek to not busy ourselves so much with church activities that we do not have enough time to share the Gospel with our community. We also seek to be a church that does life together intergenerationally. That is why we have set up our ministries and gatherings to be more age integrated instead of age segregated.
We have started with one Growth Group on Sunday mornings before church at 9:00 AM. We are open to starting more should the Lord bless us so. This is a time of Biblical education as well as fellowship. Consider it a hybrid of Sunday School and Small Groups.
Family Gatherings and Church Gatherings - Periodic Events Planned
We have had family game night, church celebrations, church dinners, and are planning other family events in the future. You may notice that we do not have a youth group or children's ministry in a a typical modern churchy kind of way. That is because we want our chuldren to grow by being around older, godly examples and mentors who can help them grow in the knowledge of Christ. We love children and youth and enjoy having them as a part of the church.
Men's Ministry - Periodic Events Planned
We have undertaken axe throwing, hitting golf balls at the driving range, and look forward to other fun activities. We join our sending church Good Shepherd with weekly men's basketball. We hope to continually find other ways to spend time together and grow as men in Christ.
